MUMBAI: Actress Jayashree Gaikwad who is based in Badlapur near Navi Mumbai in an interview to this reporter has alleged that one Rahul Gaikwad circulated her ‘fake & morphed’ nude images with the intention to defame her and cause her major financial losses. Jayashree has filed a written complaint against Rahul Gaikwad in this matter.
According to her, the said accused Rahul Gaikwad allegedly threatened her that his family works in the Maharashtra police and that nobody can do anything to him.
According to written complaints submitted and duly acknowledged by officials of the Badlapur East police station, who are investigating the case, one Rahul Gaikwad was responsbile for her vulgar images appearing on various social media platforms. In fact the Marathi actress has several other grievances against the wife and mother-in-law of Rahul Gaikwad who are accused of allegedly cheating her.
Jayshree has sent written complaints copies of which are with this reporter, to the Thane Police Commissioner, DCP (Ulhasnagar), DCP (Kalyan) and the senior inspector of Badlapur East police station. According to her complaints, Rahul Gaikwad was acting on the instructions of his wife, who has a long standing financial dispute with Jayshree.
When we contacted Badlapur East police they claimed they have received the written complaints and are looking into the matter. Jayshree on her part has been running from pillar to post over the last few months to get justice and recover her money – in another case against Rahul Gaikwad’s wife, but the cops have classifed the matter as a ‘private civil case’.
According to Jayshree, she has now approached the local magistrate’s court and filed a private case in the criminal court for cheating, forgery and fraud.
However, Rahul Gaikwad has denied the claims and allegations against him. He said it is a false case and he is being harassed for monetary reasons.
Jayashree on her part claims that she will move the JMFC court for appropriate reliefs and also claimed that she has requested the Badlapur police to register an FIR for cheating.
