Mumbai-based Guru Jayantimala Ji’s Kala Kriti Kendra performs at Tirupati Balaji Mahotsav

MUMBAI: A troupe of Indian classical dancers led by Guru Jayantimala Ji’s Kala Kriti Kendra and Mahan Nritanyangana Sitara Devi’s students performed at the Tirupati Balaji Mahotsav on 13th January, 2026.

There were more than 50 thousand people in the temple premises watching the show, which was highly appreciated by one and all.

The audience enjoyed various items presented by Guru Jayantimala ji’s Kala Kriti Kendra and Mahan Nritanyangana Sitara Devi’s students which included an initial Ganesh Vandana, Radha Krishna dance on Adharam Madhuram, Shiva Tandav, Lasya Tandav dance and Chaturanga.

Jayantimala Ji performed with her students Nilaanjana, Mansi Atre, Monika Verma, Krutika Joshi and Himanshee.

The Tirupati Mahotsav primarily refers to the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams, a major nine-day festival at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, celebrating Lord Venkateswara Balaji with elaborate processions on divine vehicles (Vahanas), special rituals like Dwajarohanam (flag hoisting), and cultural programs, attracting millions, with dates varying yearly.
