MUMBAI: Simmy Antara Dixit – a model and actor, who is based in Mumbai has just hit the jackpot. According to a press release by a production house, which has not yet been released publicily, but was seen by us, she has been signed on in a multi-project deal for a web series, Bollywood film and even a Tamil south film.
This is the tip of the iceberg as it’s a multi-project deal, but we are not yet aware of all the details.
The media announcement will be made either on Monday or Tuesday, as the producer is out of town, but accroding to our sources, the signing has been done and only the public announcement is now left after the director and producer are back in Mumbai.
Who is Simmy Antara Dixit?
Simmy Antara Dixit is a model and actress known for her TV work in shows like Sony TV’s “Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage” as Kaveri and “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi” and has also appeared on shows like Savdhaan India.
Her birth name is Simmy Dixit, but she recently changed her name to Simmy Antara Dixit, based on the advice of an astrology expert.
She started with theatre and initially participated in the Miss Pretty India Contest. Then she did the VFTv Ms Bikini India pageant and was in the top 3 contestants. She will represent India, along with three other modes in the VFTv Ms Bikini Asia-Pacific pageant in April this year.
She is a martial arts student, model, dancer and actor and has done a few theatre plays in the past, as well as several vertical short-film projects, web series and modeling assignments.
