CHENNAI: With several producers lining up to sign Bhojpuri actress Tara Rani Singh (also known as Rangita Singh), Bihar’s Lavri Devi has got a rousing welcome in South India.
While she is yet to make her presence felt in a big way, she apparently has been invited to audition for at least three South India production houses who have even scheduled ‘look tests’ next week.
Tara Rani Singh will be in South India, with meetings slated in Chennai in mid-February to audition and meet up with directors and producers, said her manager who handles the South Film market, adding that a few film projects may be signed next weekend.
Tara Rani Singh aka Rangita Singh who is sometimes referred to as “lavri devi“, is an actress and social media creator based in Bihar. She shuttles between Bihar and Mumbai and is also active in Bollywood.
She is actively present on Instagram, Facebook and Threads, sharing reels, behind-the-scenes, and personal film-related content.
She maintains an active presence on Instagram, posting almost every day and with over 22k followers showcasing her life as an actress.
Her content primarily consists of Instagram Reels, including “on set” videos, lip-syncs, and personal updates. She hails from Bihar region and creates content often in local contexts.
