MUMBAI: Emerging actor Poonam Prajakta Palav from Mumbai has secured a three-film contract with Chennai-based production house Vrindaavan Films, marking an important milestone in her acting journey.

The opportunity follows a nationwide talent hunt conducted by filmmaker Maneesh F. Singh, who set out to discover promising newcomers from across India. Among the many aspiring performers who participated, Singh identified Poonam as one of the standout talents, praising her determination, natural screen presence, fresh and innocent looks and strong potential to succeed in the entertainment industry.

Sharing his views on the signing, Singh said he was sufficiently impressed by Poonam’s abilities to cast her in his upcoming productions. However, before she steps in front of the camera, she will undergo an extensive grooming programme organised by Vrindaavan Films in Mumbai. The training will include acting workshops, dialogue delivery sessions, personality development, and physical fitness, with a focus on enhancing her overall performance and screen appeal.

Singh noted that although she still has areas to refine, including acting technique and fitness, she possesses exceptional talent and the drive needed to build a successful career. He added that, as one of the winners of the production house’s talent hunt initiative, Poonam will receive professional mentoring and guidance to prepare her for the demands of the film industry.
