NEW DELHI: The FTv Mrs Universe Earth, international pageant and mega fashion event will be held in Goa, in June this year and representing India among 120 other nations will be the 38-year-old Shashi Khushi Rai.
Shashi Khushi Rai was chosen after several rounds of auditions in different parts of India. About 500 women auditioned for the pageant and auditions were conducted during February and March in more than 10 cities of India, including New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, besides others.
Out of the 500 women in the Mrs (married or 35+) category , 25 women were chosen out of which Shashi Khushi Rai was selected as the finalist, said director Maneesh F Singh, who was one of jury members for the event. The India chapter of the international pageant Ms Universe Earth is being organised and supported by Vrindaavan Films and the finale will be held in June in North Goa, Singh said.
Shashi Khushi Rai who is based in Ghaziabad, near the National Capital Region or NCR is a model, influencer and fashionista. She has been modeling from the time she was a teenager and has participated in various fashion shows and related events.
She is 38 years old and her hobbies include singing, cooking and travelling. She loves cooking for her family and is a gym and fitness freak.
Of late, Shashi Khushi Rai is concentrating on modeling and even reality shows. She is a great fan of the Salman Khan-hosted popular reality show Bigg Boss and has watched most of the episodes over the last several seasons.
