MUMBAI: If the gossip vines in Mumbai’s Tv world are to be believed, popular Delhi-based influencer and model Shashi Khushi Rai has been approached by a casting team or talent hunters for participation in the popular reality show Bigg Boss which airs on Colors Hindi and is hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
Shashi Khushi Rai who is based in Ghaziabad, near the National Capital Region or NCR, is a model, influencer and fashionista. She has been modeling from the time she was a teenager and has participated in various fashion shows and related events. She is the India Finalist for the Mrs Universe Earth pageant to be held in Goa, later this year.
She is 35 years old and her hobbies include singing, cooking and travelling. She loves cooking for her family and is a gym and fitness freak.
Of late, Shashi Khushi Rai is concentrating on modeling and even reality shows. She is a great fan of the Salman Khan-hosted popular reality show Bigg Boss and has watched most of the episodes over the last several seasons.
Bigg Boss 20 is expected to premiere in September or October 2026, likely hosted again by Salman Khan. The show is slated to return with a new, high-octane season following the conclusion of other Color TV reality shows, with early buzz suggesting a focus on “reality vs digital” themes.
Actress Ridhima Gupta (known from Megha Barsenge) has dropped hints about her potential participation, with speculation she could be a confirmed contestant.
This Bigg Boss season is likely to follow the theme of reality vs. digital or virtual, with a focus on AI and other toold. As the June 2026 slot is reserved for Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, the show is likely to start only in September 2026 or even later, shifting the timeline for the new Bigg Boss season.
